2miwalk

Even when you make sure you've gone to the bathroom before heading out on your walk, there's still no guarantee that you won't have to go again before you get back! I'm not sure what it is about menopause that makes you have to go more often, but I've had many days where I had to cut my walk short and actually RUN, not walk to get back home!

Actually there are 3 kinds of incontinence...
  • urge incontinence - when you have to suddenly go and you can't hold it and also having to go during the night.
  • stress incontinence - this is where you have involuntary leaking such as when you laugh or cough and is caused by a weakening of the pelvic muscles.
  • overflow incontinence - caused mostly by aging and the weakening of the bladder itself.
